Are you one to set New Year resolutions that you end up abandoning after January? I have been there too. This year I didn't set any resolutions for myself because I wanted to try something different. I wanted to live in the moment and do what felt right in the moment.
All day I have seen people posting about One Word 365 and I had to know what all the craze was about. I was pleasantly surprised by the concept and thought it would be a great addition to my year of living in the moment.
My first thought was to make my word gratitude...but on second thought that was only a small part of what I want to practice this year. I want my creativity, confidence, drive, balance, strength, and much more to shine though in my one word.
After a little too much deliberating I have decided my word for 2018 is...
The reason for which something is done or created
or for which something exists.
I want to end 2018 knowing that I took every moment to live with purpose. I have learned recently that there are so many moments we take for granted and I want to take those moments in, no matter how small.
For 365 days I am going to use purpose as my guide. I feel that going into this year with a word that speaks to me is going to help me end 2018 with a better sense of who I was created to be.
Cheers to a great year,
